SUPPORT FOR CREATIVES

Therapeutic support and psychological insight for creative minds.

Creativity can be deeply fulfilling, but it often comes with emotional intensity, vulnerability, and uncertainty. I work with actors, musicians, writers, directors, DJ's, dancers, designers, visual artists, and other creatives who are navigating the psychological challenges that can accompany creative work and identity.

Experience within leading arts institutions

I’ve provided therapeutic support within two of London’s leading performing arts institutions, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. These roles have given me valuable insight into the emotional demands of training and performing at a high level, as well as the unique pressures faced by students and professionals in the arts.

Beyond these institutions, I continue to work with creatives from a wide range of disciplines in my private practice. This includes individuals building their careers, as well as those already established in highly visible or public facing roles.  Whether you’re freelancing, collaborating within production teams, or navigating the emotional demands of success, therapy offers a confidential space to reflect, manage challenges, and find clarity in both your personal and professional life.

Supporting Your
Mental Health

Beyond your work itself, you may be carrying the quieter burdens of creative life, self doubt, rejection, instability, or the emotional highs and lows that come with putting something personal into the world.

Resilience through uncertainty

Coping with rejection, instability, and the unpredictable nature of creative careers.

Self worth beyond the work

Maintaining a grounded sense of identity when you're not creating or performing.

Creative validation and pressure

Managing self esteem when success feels tied to external recognition or productivity.

Relational dynamics in creative spaces

Navigating emotional complexities in ensembles, collaborations, or leadership roles.

The psychology of creative identity

Exploring how personal history, sensitivity, or vulnerability fuels (and complicates) creative expression.

PSYCHOLOGICAL COACHING FOR CREATIVE WORK

In addition to psychotherapy, I offer creative coaching for actors, writers, and others working on projects that intersect with emotional or psychological themes. This draws on both my clinical training and my experience working with creatives across disciplines.

For Actors

I support actors in exploring the psychological realities behind the characters they portray. This might involve unpacking emotional subtext, clarifying motivation and relationships, or understanding the mental health aspects of a role.
I provide psychoeducation about specific conditions to help portrayals feel grounded and respectful, while supporting actors in protecting their own emotional wellbeing.

For Writers

I work with writers looking to deepen character development, structure emotionally authentic story arcs, or bring psychological nuance to their narratives.
This may include insight into mental health, trauma, therapy scenes, or character psychology, helping to avoid stereotypes and enhance emotional credibility.
